Food Chemistry

The main objective of this Division is to provide producers, exporters, traders, buyers, etc. an integral service for all kinds of human or animal food, including all inspection, sampling, analysis and certification requirements.

Areas in which the Division is focused

Producers, traders and buyers of the exportation area and internal market such as: Fishing Products Processing Plant, Animal Food Plants (Fish Flour), Vegetables and Fruit Processing Plants, Fish Farming, Slaughterhouse and Corned Beef Factories, Canned and Frozen Food. Industries, Dairy Plants, Agroindustry among others.

Food Services such as: pre cooked food, restaurants, hotels, school cafeterias, companies, clinics and others.

Sanitary Control of Installations and Products in Supermarkets, Restaurants, etc Industries, regarding industrial water and solid wastes.
