All those services that require professional engineering support as a fundamental part. For that reason, the Civil Engineering Division has Engineers of Structures, Soil mechanical, Construction, etc with vast experience in control and quality management in civil works.

Surveys

Area of Engineering Services, specialized in applied research.

They allow to determinate causes and sources of diverse constructive pathologies that turn into failure, lack of service and other problems regarding civil works.

Industry and Construction

This Division provides services to the following area:

  • Industry: Economy sector associated to construction activity of industrial kind, specially associated to national mining and energetic areas.
  • Construction: Economy sector associated to construction activity of housing, road infrastructure, waterway, sanitary and civil works in general.

Non Destructive Testing

They concern to diverse techniques of structure evaluation by non destructive methods, which allow evaluation with no sampling or damaging the evaluated structure.

Testing Types:

  • Echo Impact Test
    Cutting edge that allows discontinuities detection (pores, cracks. capillarity, etc) in typical concrete structures such as slabs, columns and beams (Quantitative Evaluation)
  • Corrosion Potential
    This technique allows determination of corrosion potential of internal structures of a reinforced concrete. (Quantitative Evaluation)
  • Structure Integrity
    This Division is trained to assure and control quality of constructive processes, materials and end structures of any kind of civil work, such as housing, road infrastructure or industrial.

Studies

Given the complexity, diversity and multidiscipline of constructive activities, Civil Engineering Division offers studies which allow the search of engineering solutions to this industry’s cases and needs.

This Division carries out two kinds of studies:

  • Soil Mechanics:
    Studies which determine characteristics of the soil that will receive the structure, and also, they determine conditions of how the cargo will be transmitted, besides its interaction.
  • Structures
    It concerns engineering calculations regarding diverse types of structures concerning section designs, material characteristics, etc.
