The modifications to SENCE Law, promulgated on September 4 of 2004, “On rationalization of the use of the tributary tax exemption of training”, establish in the referred thing to the OTEC, the following additional requirements at the time of their constitution:

1. To count on legal personality, the one that must have like social object only the benefit of services of training
2. To credit that they have the certification under Norm NCh 2728, established like Official Norm of the Republic by the Free Resolution Nº 155, of Economy's Ministry

For the OTEC constituted at the time of the publication of the Law, one settles down, that will have until the 4 September of the 2006, to adjust to this requirement.

What is NCh 2728?

NCh 2728 is a norm that fixes the requirements that must have the OTEC to implement a Management System of Quality destined to satisfy the necessities of their clients, as well as the requirements relative to the administration and infrastructure, personnel, the training activities and relation with the participants.

This Norm takes all and each one from the elements of Norma ISO 9001:2000, and for that reason it guarantees the incorporation of quality standards in important actors of the National System of training, as OTEC.

What to do before requesting the certification?

First: Know the text Norm NCh 2728 which is available and can be acquired in the dependencies of the Normalization National Institute(INN) located in Matías Cousiño 64, Floor 5, Santiago or through its Web site www.inn.cl

Second: you should implement the norm, for which you can consult some the companies of Registry INN of consulting companies credited to implement Management Systems of Quality,
or to slant for example of ASIMET or to realize it in independent form.
