Description of the System of Securing of the Quality

Through this Policy, CESMEC declares their commitment with the quality of the services that offers and establishes the determination to implement and to maintain a System of Quality fundamentally based on the requirements of the NCh-ISO norm 9001.0f2001. Additionally their Laboratories of Analysis, Tests and Calibration fulfill the requirements of the NCh-ISO norm 17025.Of2001.

For the case of the Departments of Inspection and Certification it is applied, in the same sense, the series of norms NCh 2400.

Complementarily to these norms and guides, this process of implementation uses as it bases for his internal audits the norm NCh-ISO 19011, and as well the norms 10,012 NCh-ISO and NCh-ISO 10,013 for the insurance metrological of its equipment and instruments and for the preparation of the documentation, respectively.

For the case of implementation of Plans of Quality, applied mainly to industrial projects and/or of land works, the norm NCh-ISO 10.005 is applied.

Also one works permanently with documents and regulations of the National System of Accreditation that takes ahead the National Institute of Normalización (INN), by order of Ministry of Economy, for the accreditation of organisms of product certification, organisms of certification of quality systems, organisms of inspection, laboratories of calibration, research laboratories and auditors of quality systems.
The process of maintenance of the systems of quality insurance in CESMEC contemplates the permanent development of activities related with:

*Training of the personnel in technical aspects and management of quality.
*Elaboration and maintenance of the documentation of the system.
*Maintenance of its equipment, instruments, patterns and materials of reference.
*Implantation of procedures of control of the processes.
*Internal and external audits.
*Improvement of the relation with the external surroundings, clients and authorities.

Each one of these activities has a planning and established programming, which permanently are reviewed and updated given the dynamics that takes place in each advance of the process.

This revision includes the participation of the Supervisors of Quality Securing of each Division and Regional Seat, that are the interlocutors of the Management of Securing of Quality as far as the implementation of the quality systems, and impellers and coordinators of the activities related to this matter in its respective areas.

Within the scheme of the documentation of the system of quality securing, the main documents that compose it are:

MANUAL OF MANAGEMENT OF QUALITY OF the OPERATIVE DIVISIONS QUALITY PLANS (For Special Projects),
QUALITY PROCEDURES, INSTRUCTIVE OF QUALITY SPECIFIC AND GENERALS, REGISTRIES SPECIFIC AND GENERALS

Parallelly to the development of their own systems of quality securing, CESMEC has been participating from their beginnings, collaborating through diverse committees, in the study, development and implementation of National System of Accreditation of the INN.

After the beginning of this System, in 1996, CESMEC has obtained the Accreditation in the categories of: Auditors of Systems of Quality, Organism Certifier of Systems of Quality in ISO 9001, Organism Product Certifier (according to all the effective models of ISO/CASCO), Analysis and Research laboratories and Laboratories of Calibration. Additionally, CESMEC is working in the projects of National network of Metrology, that it includes to the Laboratories of Calibration and the Laboratories Guards of the National Patterns. In individual, CESMEC was adjudged with Laboratories Guards of the National Patterns for the magnitudes of Mass and Temperature.

These Laboratories Guards of the National Patterns of Mass and Temperature are credited by the INN of Chile and the PTB of Germany (Physikalish-Technische Bundesanstalt). These last accreditations were obtained through audits of DKD (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst), the German Service of Calibration.

As of September of 200l this management also initiates works in subjects of Environmental management, incorporating to its task the emission of news bulletins of the System of Environmental Management

On the other hand, with date 04 of August of 2004, works in subjects of Security and Occupational Health are gotten up to this management, thus giving origin to the implementation of an Integrated System of Management in subjects of Quality, atmosphere and Security, which is authenticated in Memorandum GG/017/2004 .
