A country with no Metrology has no chance to participate and answer successfully to international market exigencies.

There is no doubt about the direct incidence of an adequate measurement on good quality of products and services and also ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certifications demand companies to fulfill requirements of metrological confirmation.

As a country, today we are in a much better position so our industry may implement and be certificated with ISO 9000 Standards, because we have national labs recognized in and outside the country which operate with the same measurement standards of their peers outside the country. No doubt this is such an meaningful achievement for CESMEC, for the industry and fro the country generally speaking.
